Make Sh*t Happen!

Here it is - another Friday. Do you feel like your days fly by at lightning speed? I do. It seems like the last few weeks have gone especially fast. I think as soon as we have holidays on the horizon, gifts to buy, and family vacations there are deadlines on the year. Suddenly time has flown by!

So, that being said, there's no time like the present to MAKE SH*T HAPPEN!

Sometimes, I find it really difficult to structure my day. I came from a job where I never had a second to breathe and think about how to prioritize projects so, now, structuring my own days can be tough. I'm doing what I love, so which project takes priority? I found myself in a lull with work a few weeks ago and that's when I should have been focusing on marketing and things like Freehand Friday. But instead of that, I was skiing and doing totally unrelated activities. Why do we do that to ourselves!?

Well, I tell you what, sometimes you literally have to chain yourself down and get sh*t done! I've been trying to live by this mantra: Today I Will Make Shit Happen.

I wake up in the morning and I make a plan. First, I'm going to make coffee. Then, I'm going to work out. Next, I will come home, shower, and work for at least 4 hours. I just plan the days where there isn't actually anything planned. I have to! I don't know about you, but writing a list makes things feel more concrete sometimes. If that's your gig, make a list. Buckle down and do the thing! We all have a hundred items on our to-do list at this time of the year - so here's the fire under your butt: Today, MAKE SHIT HAPPEN!

Go get it, go-getters,
